Chapter 11. Camera
You can use the “Camera” application to take pictures anytime, anywhere. The Pictures are
automatically stored in the Photos application. You can rename the Pictures in the application, send
the Pictures using MMS, or email the pictures stored on the phone
Note: JPEG is a standard image compression format. The file extension for the JPEG file is JPG.
Note:
To ensure the transfer speed of the MMS, your mobile service provider may impose a limit on
the size of the message. Please contact your service provider for details.
11.1 Taking photos
Note: Please follow the appropriate local regulations on taking pictures.
1. Click “camera” to start the application. You will see the view window and its frames. The
area within the frame is the image area. When display an image in the view window, the
image will resize to fit the size of the screen. When displayed on the computer screen, the
image may be of higher resolution. The effective area of the lens is 30 cm. If the distance
between the object being captured and the lens is less than 30cm, the clarity of the image
may be affected (A flash image is omitted).

2. Click the shutter button on the bottom of the screen or the side camera button to shoot
directly.
3. Click the drop down menu:
Select Photo Quality: Click the icon to change the quality of the photo. The quality
you can choose from includes high, middle and low.
Select Rotate: You can also set the angle to rotate from 0 degrees to 180 degrees.
Select Self timer countdown: You can configure the self-timer to shot a picture with a
delay of 5, 10, or 15 seconds after pressing the Capture button.
Select Consecutive num: You can select the number of photos to take continuously
from 3, 6, 9 and 18.
Select Shutter sound: There are three shutter sounds to choose from. You can also
select Mute.
After you have finished taking pictures click the save on the bottom left of the screen and
save the photo in the Photos.
