choose SIM card reader, the phone will store the received SMS on the SIM card.
Effective time
You can use this option to set the storage time of the SMS on the SMS center. You can choose to
store the message in the SMS center until the storage time expires.
1. In standby mode, click “Message” icon to open the message window.
2. Click the drop down menu and select the “Message setting” and then open the “effective
time” setting window.
3. Use the selection bar or the up and down direction arrow to choose between 1 hour/6 hour/
24 hour/72 hour/1 week maximum value and click the Yes on the bottom left of the screen.
State report
The option can request the network to send you a sending status report. You will get the
notification when the receiver gets the message you have sent.
Automatic autograph
Enables the automatic signature function to add your personal signature to each message that
you send.
9.4.2 MMS setting
In standby mode, click “messaging icon” to open the message window. Click the drop down
menu and select “MMS setting” from the function lists.
Receive MMS
Open: The option enables you to receive a MMS message;
Close The option disables the MMS message receiving function.
Sending settings:
Delivery report: has two options: open and close. The SMS gateway will send you a report
when the MMS is sent successfully.
Reply required: Requires that the receiver send a reply message back after the SMS has
been received.
Effective date: If the message cannot be sent to the receiver by a certain date it will be
deleted by the SMS center. This function requires network support. The default value is the
longest time permitted by the network.
Priority: There are three SMS priority options: Common, high and low.
Reply method: You can choose whether to reply to an MMS with a SMS or a MMS.
Receiver settings:
Receiving MMS: There are two options: automatic and manual. When a MMS arrives, you
can decide whether to download it automatically or manually receive it.
Reject AD: There are two options, open and close. You can choose whether to receive the
AD from the MMS.
Allow Reply: If you receive an MMS that requires a sender reply you can decide whether to
permit your system to send a reply back.
Filter settings:
The user can set a filter list. The addresses of the sender whose messages you do not want to
receive are stored there. When a MMS arrives the system will determine whether the sender is
stored in the list. If it is stored in a filter list the mobile phone will reject it. You can program up to 20
names in a filter list.
